GROSS! @WashingtonPost’s @DaveWeigel RT’s Blatantly Anti-Semitic @Axios Article Comparing Jews To The KKK

The Washington Post’s Dave Weigel just retweeted a blatantly anti-semitic article from Axios, a site founded by the hyper partisan progressive, Markos Moulitsas. The article compares Jews to the KKK and David Duke.

When will the left stop attacking Jews??

After two weeks of efforts, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu succeeded in forming a united ultra right-wing party that will run in the April 9 elections, paving the way for Jewish supremacists from the “Jewish Power” party to make it into the next Knesset.

Why it matters: This is an unprecedented development in Israel’s history and is equivalent to a U.S. president cutting a political deal with David Duke, the former KKK leader. The prime minister and the ruling Likud Party are legitimizing a racist, xenophobic and homophobic fringe party in hopes of bolstering a right-wing bloc after the elections.

So, now Washington Post writers are sharing articles that compare Jews to the KKK.

I get that they might not like the “Jewish Power” party, whoever they are, but the article Dave links to is just dripping with hatred for conservative Jews…er…Isreal.

Jewish Power’s wikipedia entry indicates why the American left loathes them:

The party is considered to be Religious ZionistKahanist, ultra-nationalist, anti-Arab, and far-right.[7][8][3][30] The party calls for the annexation of the West Bank, and for complete Israeli rule between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. The party is against the formation of a Palestinian state, and advocates for the cancellation of the Oslo accords, as well as for imposing Israeli sovereignty over the Temple Mount. The party also advocates for increased teaching of Jewish history in all elementary schools to “deepen Jewish identity in students”.[8] The party is against “freezing construction of Jewish settlements, releasing terrorists, or negotiating with the PA”.[31] The party advocates for the deportation of “Arab extremists”.[31]

Clearly they’re hardliners, but comparing them to the KKK and David Duke is clearly and unequivocally anti-semitic.

Please stop attacking Jews, Axios, Washington Post, and Dave Weigel.
