Crypto Converter

Convert between cryptocurrencies and dollars, euros or pounds at live prices.

Runs entirely in your browser. No account, no wallet connection, and nothing you type is sent to us or stored.

Euro and pound figures are converted from the dollar price using a daily reference rate, so treat them as close, not exact.

This is a conversion, not a valuation. It shows what an amount is worth at today's market price, which can change by the minute. It does not tell you whether something is worth buying, and nothing here is financial advice.

You do not have to buy a whole coin

This is the thing that trips up almost everyone at the start, so it is worth saying plainly: cryptocurrencies divide into very small fractions. You can own 0.001 of a bitcoin as easily as you can own one. The price you see quoted is simply the price of one whole unit, in the same way a kilogram of something has a price even though you can buy 200 grams.

This matters because of a very common and very expensive mistake. When beginners see one coin priced at tens of thousands and another at a fraction of a penny, the cheap one feels like better value — more coins for your money, more room to grow. It is not. What matters is the total value of the whole project, not the price of one slice of it, and a coin priced in fractions of a penny is usually priced that way because there are trillions of them. How to read prices goes into this properly.

Where these numbers come from

Prices are pulled from public market data through our own server, refreshed about once a minute. Your browser never talks to a third party, and we do not know or store what you type into this page. If our data source is briefly unavailable we will say so rather than show you a stale number dressed up as a live one.
